The theme Abstract/High Contrast Photography is, I guess, a genre of photography that I have found to be my favorite. What this genre is taking photos and making them look either very dark of very light using contrast manipulation. Abstract photography is a type of photography with little to no immediate association with the object world and has been created through the use of photographic equipment. Aaron Siskind is said to be the grandfather of Abstract Expressionist movement. He usually photographed paint chipping away and the seams of brick walls in black and white as his subject matter. These photos are very good examples of Siskind's work because, they are his photos. Abstract photography is a weird type of photography or genre if you will. Its main tagline is it doesn't have to have a specific subject matter, but yet most abstract photographers have some sort of subject matter when it comes to this genre of photography. Contrast photography doesn't have an official wikipedia page, but most of the examples are in black and white which is why its high contrast. When I photograph high contrast I take that to the most literal sense possibly by actually using very high contrast. Its a staple of my photograph I believe. So the term "high contrast" can be taken literally (like me) or figuratively (like everyone else). My images show mainly the high contrast side of my project but have hints of abstract expressionism mixed well within them all. The order I have these photos is in order from greatest showing of abstract expressionism/high contrast photography to least showing. Description: These photos are of multiple things such as a car stereo, a door, a lightbulb, and two photos of the Moon. Analysis: In my own humble opinion, I believe the photo of the lightbulb is the greatest example of high contrast abstract expressionism because you can tell how much the contrast on this photo is, you can see the words on the lightbulb while it's on. The second and third photos were close runner ups but nothing can beat lightbulbs. Interpretation: I interpret these photos to be a quick dip into my thought process, I don't see many things on a spectrum, especially answers. It is either yes or no, maybe is my least favorite answer to anything because it leaves me to question whether or not I am right about something which causes me to second guess myself and pick some other answer on my math homework. So i express that rationale through my photography which is why you see such high contrast photos. Judgment: These photos make me glad to be a good photography because in my opinion I could've never done this type of photography if it wasn't for my interpretation of everyday life.

1. Keep it fresh, close in on details, and work with a great team. 2. They focused in on texture and other elements of photography. 3. Deserts because they are usually colorful and full of texture. 12/8/2016 0 Comments December 08th, 2016The emotions I was experiencing were sadness and an overall sense of distaste.
By taking photos of their faces. Probably the ones at the kiln. Kids and women are forced to work in hot enviornemnts and theyare mistreated. Because it showed literal hell on earth. 12/7/2016 0 Comments Mood Pinterest Boardhttps://www.pinterest.com/spoore20/mood/
I chose anxiety/depression/sadness. Ruined buildings, tears, stuff like that. By manipulating lighting and perspective. Both because they could be manipulated to cooperate together 12/6/2016 4 Comments Project: AlphabetJudgment: Photos of food items I manipulated to make the alphabet
